Prepare for the zombiepocalypse!
It’s hard to say what you’d do in the event of a zombie apocalypse, though most people agree that they’d arm themselves to the teeth -- and perhaps set the undead hordes on fire. As you do in Burn Zombie Burn, a third-person strategic shooter in which you fight wave after wave of assorted zombies. Initially you have a revolver and a torch, then upgrade to assorted Uzis, shotguns, clubs, explosives, flamethrowers, chainsaws, lawnmowers, mind control rays, and Gatling guns.

My, what a big gun you have.
While Bruce’s torch may be a poor weapon to fall back to, remember that the undead are afraid of fire. Even if completely surrounded, you can charge through a crowd of zombies to help clear a path. This is where things get interesting. While lighting your undead opponents on fire might wipe out a good chunk of your opposition in other games, the end result here is a horde of flaming zombies that keeps chasing you -- plus, now they move faster. But disposing of flaming zombies earns you better item drops and additional bonus points, a neat risk-versus-reward tradeoff.
With four game modes (Free Play, Timed, Defend Daisy, and Survival), achievements, and unlocks, Burn Zombie Burn pushes you to keep playing, and we love its absurd, tongue-in-cheek sense of humor. But we still have complaints: multiplayer functionality has yet to be incorporated as of version 1.2.0, and remapping the keys is trickier than it should be.
The bottom line. These shortcomings aside, Burn Zombie Burn remains a killer value for $4.99 -- it’s deeply fun and the kind of game that becomes a perfect way to waste an ever-increasing amount of time laying waste to the undead hordes.

Positives
Good graphics and sound, cool weapons, wide variety of enemies, tons of unlocks, and nifty risk-versus-reward basis make for a completely fun game.
Negatives
Current lack of multiplayer support (version 1.2.0). Key settings prove difficult to remap and will need to be looked up in order to learn.
