Role-playing wonder
Square Enix games are known for their deeply engrossing storylines, and Chaos Rings is no exception. Though the action-packed role-playing game comes in a smaller form factor, it borrows the same animated aesthetics and easy-to-use game mechanics of Square Enix’s memorable console titles.

If you emerge from your battle victorious, give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done.
To play, you must choose one of the two person teams--both with differing story lines--and guide them around the perilous dungeons of the Arka Arena with the intuitive touch-anywhere joystick controls. Most of the game is spent engaged in turn-based battles that can become tedious, though the item-drop and leveling up system gives you something to work towards. And during duels, you can control both of the characters in your party either separately, or in a paired attack.

As you travel through dungeons, make sure to pick up items in the chests located around the map.
The game is fairly easy for newcomers to the RPG genre, though there is no Auto Save feature, which could have you pulling out your hair if you forget to save before a difficult battle. Regardless, the storyline and unlimited customization in Chaos Rings made this game difficult to put down.
This is another one of those must-have, must-play Square Enix games with an engaging storyline and impressive graphics.
