Batch uploading via a web interface is often slow and agonizing, and while iPhoto is certainly a better alternative, it can be a slow-opening memory hog. Courier can solve this annoyance, with a bit of aesthetic flair. The app has a drag-and-drop interface and supports a multitude of services, including the Flickr and Facebook, as well as YouTube, MobileMe’s iDisk, Vimeo, Amazon S3, and any custom FTP. To set it up, all you have to do is create an “envelope” for the services you want to batch upload to, and then drop in your photos. You can then tag each photo and add a description, though you’ll have to do that individually—so much for batch tagging!
Requirements
Mac OS 10.6.6 or later, 64-bit processor
Positives
Drag-and-drop interface is extremely easy to use. Supports all major services.
Negatives
No simple editing. No batch tagging.
