First Look: Flip Mino HD

Flip Video is breaking into the consumer HD camcorder market with their update to the popular Flip Mino, the Flip Mino HD.

The Flip Mino HD ships with a 4GB drive, double that of the Flip Mino. It needs those extra GBs to handle the 1280x720 video. Double the resolution of its predecessor.

So what does an extra $50, two more GB and double the resolution get you over the Flip Mino? We decided to find out using the most advanced scientific methods available. Using a rubber band found in Robbie's desk we bound the Flip Mino and Flip Mino HD together and shot identical videos. Take a look at the videos below and decide for yourself.

Wish you would've shot more people. Would like to see how the camera does on skin tone.

I'm sure Violet Blue can get some good skin shots for ya.
