Shiny graphics make us want to learn.
Grafly is a sensationally vibrant way to graph your equation. This app displays your equation in 2D or 3D with full shading, lighting, and distinction between the inside and the outside of the shape. The 3D graphs are touch-based, tilt-based, and gravity-based; pinch to zoom in and out, calibrate “down” for tilt mode, or, in gravity mode, spin the axis anyway you like by moving your device to get a full, 360 degree view.
Grafly can also store an unlimited capacity of equations, with the ability to edit and add to them later on. And, should you have any difficulties with your homework, the app can email a screenshot of the graph straight from the iPhone to your professor. There are also 30 built-in sample equations that can aid in learning 3D graph and explore the Grafly’s functions.
This graphing calculator is more suited to calculus geeks than those testing out trigonometry. The graphs can get tricky to navigate and the coordinates are difficult to interpret in 3D mode.
This fun to play with app is great for extreme math geeks who just need the big picture.

PRICE: $9.99
REQUIREMENTS: iPhone or iPod touch with 2.0 software update.
Awesome, 3D vector graphs with 360-degree visibility. Great for analytical math.
Graph rotations and calibrations can get stuck, causing frustration. No standard calculator. Coordinates difficult to see in 3D.
