That's because There's a hidden compartment between the case and your phone that can hold up to 3 cards: ID and credit cards. The stealth compartment is super clever—most credit-card-carrying iPhone cases just have a pocket on the back, so your cards or money are visible. You can access your bounty by cracking open the hinged door on the bottom, which is also perfect if you have to dock your iPhone and need the bottom totally free. But even with the hinged door closed, the bottom of the case is open enough to fit the Apple Lightning-to-30-pin adapter.
The bottom line. The glossy plastic isn't the most luxe material, but the way it stashes your credit card away is really smart.
