its DLANTZ again....

"Something must be different on the internals of the Mini otherwise why doesn't the iPad 2 have Siri? Hopefully it's not just a decision that Apple decided against."

This is Apple's way of forcing you to upgrade.

The iPad 2 is MORE THAN CAPABLE of using Siri, as many jailbreoken SIRI apps clearly demonstrate and since the requests are handled by server farms and NOT your iPad, but Apple in all it's corporate wisdom, has decided that it needs a "killer app" to guarantee it's customers upgrade to the latest and greatest (ish).

Does anyone remember Siri BEFORE Apple got their hands on it? Heck, it even worked on my iPhone 3G!

I used to be a die-hard Apple fan, but Apple is letting their corporate decisions take priority over customer satisfaction...

I plan to buy one iPad mini to share between two children, and would love to see an improved iOS where they allow for separate log in accounts. This way my son can configure his screen the way he wants, and my daughter can have hers her way. It's time for iOS to take into account multiple users.

I will not buy any tablet that does not allow access to content on a flash/thumb drive, and I know plenty of people who feel the same way.

I totally agree. I can't understand why Apple doesn't allow for any USB connectivity save for charging/using in iTunes. Perhaps to not try and undermine the sales of the MacBook Air? Even though I love my iPad Mini, it would be fantastic if a flash drive option were available. It's almost a bit of a no-brainer.

I do like my Mini even though it took a while to get used to after having the iPad 3. It was more for the size than the retina display that caused issues for me as the icons felt smaller. I've used several Android 7inch tablets including the Nexus (which is the best Android tablet IMO), but for me the iPad "just works" when it comes to app developments.
