Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation Review
America has been invaded by a foreign military alliance, and things "from sea to shining sea" are getting pretty hairy. As part of an elite team of soldiers, you'll dispose of the military threat through the generous application of a wide variety of bullets, bombs, and blades, raining fire upon foes in the streets and from helicopters or a circling C-130 "Spooky" gunship. And you'll love it.

With 13 single-player missions and roughly five hours of gameplay, Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation serves up a stellar single-player campaign -- but it's the online multiplayer that makes this a no-brainer for anyone who takes mobile fragfests seriously.
Thanks to Gameloft's free Gameloft Live service, players can duke it out against up to 11 opponents in seven different ranked multiplayer modes. The game’s multiplayer level design lends itself to quick kills and frantic firefights, both of which will keep you coming back time and time again -- especially once you start scoring new guns, scopes, and other gear to load up your avatar with.

The bottom line. Thanks to gorgeous graphics, customizable controls, a satisfying campaign, and a superior online experience, Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation is a must-play iOS game.
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS 4.0 or later
Fantastic online action with plenty to unlock and enjoy. Meaty single-player campaign. Excellent visuals and production values. Works on both iPhone and iPad.
Very liberal with its impersonation of the Call of Duty series.
