The Rain Design mStand looks right at home with your Apple gear.

What’s on your lap? If you said, “Why, my Mac, of course,” aren’t your thighs getting a little warm? Or perhaps your neck hurts from hunching over to better see the screen. Well, sit up straight, Hot-Thighs McSlouchy, because the mStand can help.

mStand. If you use your ’Book on a desk, the stylish mStand props the screen up 6 inches and clears space for your external mouse and keyboard. The stand, made of a single piece of aluminum, has rubber pads to keep both the stand and notebook stable, and it has a vent on the bottom. Resembling the base of an iMac or Cinema Display, it also matches the metal finish on the MacBook Pro and Air. The mStand weighs 3 pounds and measures 10 inches wide, 7.5 inches deep, and 5.9 inches tall. All Mac notebooks fit without wobbling.

THE BOTTOM LINE

The mStand is a stylish, sturdy choice for raising your notebook’s display to eye level.

avatar"Awesome" rating for a stand??!! YES!

You might be thinking, "Why would I want to spend $50 for something that could be accomplished with a couple of phone books?" But this stand is GREAT! I purchased this stand 2 years ago and it is one of my favorite accessories. It raises the laptop just the right amount, keeps it cool, and it looks cool. I have had a lot of compliments and questions from coworkers.
