I will play in a Den. I will play 'till the End.
Once you realize that it isn’t the slightest bit risque--despite the pretty girl in the icon--Sextuple Word Challenge will fill your day with jumbled, word-puzzle goodness.
With a clean interface and simple gameplay that offers just two options--normal or expert--Sextuple Word Challenge has a real take-it-or-leave-it attitude. Each round consists of six letters that can be mixed to form three- to six-letter words. The length of each level depends on the number of possible words, and true to its name, at least one six-letter word can always be formed. You try to guess as many words as possible, and Sextuple fills in any blanks at the end of the round.
Games can be paused at any time or played while trapped in a boring phone conversation, but it's the repetitive nature of the the game that makes it so fun. Part of the challenge is quickly recognizing words from previous rounds to leave enough time for finding new ones. And when a board is actually completed, the tendency to pump our fists was overwhelming.
Sextuple's dictionary adds to the difficulty, which can be frustrating to figure out, since some words are either too obscure or completely omitted. An option to play with more letters would be fun, too, but we certainly had our hands full with six.
Sextuple Word Challenge will have you thinking of six--not sex--and you won't be able to think about much else.
