Do you like sharing photos but find services like Instagram or yfrog too limiting? Then you may well enjoy Zapd’s new app, designed for the iPhone and iPod touch. It’ll also work on your iPad, but it’s not a universal app, so it doesn't take advantage of that device’s larger screen.
Zapd lets you create photo-focussed websites in seconds -- literally. It's incredibly easy to use. Start by choosing from one of 20 design templates, then add photos from your Camera Roll or access your camera straight from the app. You can add as many images as you like, including text and links to other sites and reorder each element as you see fit. When you're ready, tap the Publish button, and that's it. Of course, first you'll have to register for free with Zapd or login with your Facebook details.

Once your site is published, it gets a URL, and you can let family and friends know it's up by sending an email or posting the link to Twitter or Facebook from within the app. Just as you’d expect from a website creation tool, you can also update your page as often as you want or delete it altogether.
The bottom line. Zapd is a great app to help you create a photo website of your own, straight from your mobile device. Being able to add text and web links is just icing on the cake -- and best of all, both the app and the service are free. You should definitely give it a try.
