Rumor: New Alleged iPhone 2.0 Pics
French blog, iPhon.fr, posted pics of what may be the next iPhone. The back of the device is black as reported by every rumor in the last few weeks. So it must be real.
Our take, if you had a prototype of the next iPhone would you keep it in a pocket full of sandpaper? Seriously, the back of that thing is a mess.
What's your take?

This looks like a photoshopped samsung slider phone. A bad job indeed, however i do hope they come out with an all-black iphone 2.0, as long as it is as scratch-resistant as the current one is. Just my 2 cents.

Apple wouldn't make it non-symmetrical like that. The bottom part is bigger than the top part.

Look at the Apple logo at the back - it's too wide, sign of a bad Photoshop job (wrong proportion depending on perspective).
I call fake.

Yep, Apple logo isn't rotated to match the angle of the case (it's square to the photo instead). Faker should really invest a more recent version of Photoshop and learn to use the perspective grid function.

Why is the thing so scratched, and where is the camera on the front, supposedly embedded in the glass?

Plastic may be better for battery life, as it insulates better than metal. Cold kills lithium-based batteries.

I do not see the FCC verbiage or any of the other regulatory markings on the back? I understand it might not yet have received approval from the FCC but you would think they would have them anyway?

I wonder how durable the back is going to be since they are switching from aluminum to plastic.
