Safari can prompt you to remember your usernames and passwords for many websites.
Can you tell me how I can use my keychain to autofill my usernames and passwords when visiting websites?
Although this feature is not enabled by default, Safari can use your keychain to remember the usernames and passwords for many of the websites that you navigate to. In Safari, simply go to Safari > Preferences, click on the Autofill button, and check the box that says “Usernames and passwords.”
From that point on, whenever you type in a new username or password for a website, Safari will ask you if you want it to remember this information for the future. If you agree, Safari will automatically fill in your username and password whenever you visit that website again.

1Password helps you manage all of your autofill information (even more than just your username-password combination) for any site on the Internet
However, this feature won’t work for all websites. That’s because for security reasons, some websites are specifically programmed to prevent your Web browser from retaining password information. If you’d like to work around these restrictions, you can use the secure password and autofill manager 1Password ($29.95, www.1password.com) or the Safari plug-in Saft ($12, haoli.dnsalias.com).
Both of these utilities have other unique features as well. For example, Saft gives you the ability to enjoy full-screen browsing and customize the Google search field. 1Password gives you the ability to sync your passwords to your iPhone or Palm OS device, autofill forms based on multiple identities, and remember your autofill information across multiple Web browsers.
