The built-tough Radius bags have a limited lifetime warranty.
Though Targus had MacBooks and MacBook Pros in mind when designing its new Radius line of messenger bags, there’s nothing that would make them exclusively dedicated to Apple’s current notebook line. You can use a Radius bag with a PowerBook, iBook, or even a PC notebook if you want.
The Radius line consists of the Vertical Messenger (shown in the middle) for 13-inch notebooks, and the Messenger (right) and Convertible Backpack (left), each of which holds a notebook as large as 15 inches. The bags have water-resistant polyester exteriors and a nylon lining. And each model has a molded foam notebook pocket to give your ’Book some cushion when there’s pushin’. Speaking of pockets, you’ll find plenty of ’em to stash your stuff in, and the pockets even have cute little icons to give you an idea of what goes where—for example, one pocket sports a tiny mouse label.
The bottom line. The only unfortunate thing about the Radius bags is that they’re too small for a 17-inch MacBook Pro. Otherwise, these are well-constructed bags that should last for years.
