From iMac to iPhone: A Video Trip Down Apple Announcement Memory Lane
Posted 11/02/2009 at 12:52:59pm | by Michael Delano

No one announces a product like Apple. To remind us of that fact, we've put together a video of Steve and company introducing products from the original iMac up to the latest iPod nano with video.

Never have the words, "One more thing," meant so much to so many people.

Enjoy the trip down memory lane.

Note: Be sure to turn up the volume of the video player. By default, it's on mute.

For fun, drop the products you've purchased that are announced in this video in the comments below.

Amazing video, as always. It was great to see some of the old products and how revolutionary they were at the time. The reaction to the MacBook Air was just incredible. Thanks for the great content Mac|Life!

avatarThere is one more thing...

I do have one product announced on the video. I have the 3rd Gen iPod Nano, which I think is the best design of the iPod yet.

You can get a program called "RealPlayer Downloader." It may be a part of the RealPlayer media player, and if I remember correctly it was free ...<<< http://www.real.com/mac/realplayer?src=realhome_spmac_bb_0_1_1_0_0_2_0&pcode=rn&opage=realhome_spmac_bb>>> When it can, it'll download video's whenever you enter a website. I'll repeat, "when it can" - not all video's on websites are available for downloading. I was able to download this MacLife video. My one comments - this program can be a pain because it'll pop open every time you get to a site with a video, but at least you choose whether or not if you want to download the identified video's.
