MacLife has excellent product reviews and articles within your on-line and published media. I've followed what you do since your inception. A market might exist for newscaster banter and attempts at Saturday Night Live commentary, but the display of silliness by what appears to be demented children adds nothing to the credibility of your publication. It would work with much less face time, no unrelated personal comments other than product description and evaluation, for most serious readers. It's a needed niche.
The "Show" comes off as personal self promotion by those appearing on the screen using product in attempts to make themselves interesting. Commentators with a serious understanding of the product they review with cameras on only the product 99% of the time would make the "Show" interesting and informative. Unfortunately, the "Show" comes off as a poor attempt to entertain those who view Maxwell Smart reruns non-stop. CNET reviews might offer you some insight into what works. Even their people have too much face time...probably something that is required to make them feel a part of the review.
These comments are offered constructively since I find the printed part of MacLife on a par and in some instances superior to Macworld. Many would certainly welcome a professionally produced video product review rather than what exists today.

Hey guys, good show. I hope you won't be offended if I offer a little constructive criticism...
I have to say that I much prefer the casual nature of your audio podcast to the new video format. In your podcast, the parts I enjoy the most are the casual banter and conversations you have amongst each other. Often times it leads to different opinions and multiple points of view. It also makes me feel more like I'm listening to friends talking about subjects that I'm also interested in. In contrast, the new format has a scripted nature that makes me feel less like I'm sharing in a conversation, and more like I'm listening to a commercial.
I'll continue watching/listening regardless of where you take this show, but I'd love to see more scatting, Nick's quick wit, Susie's contagious laughter, Ray's funny insight, and Flo's irreplaceable goofiness.

Would like more details about the DJ player. Especially since I have never seen one before and would like to see the other functions that it has. There was a lot said about the scratch, but would have liked to have heard more about the basics.
iphone 4 case please.

My iPhone 4 could sure use a frosty case to keep Professor Hinkle at bay.

I have an Iphone 3g!
its nearly dead as the sim card slot is buggy and the lock button does not work (niether does the vibrate setting) but it never dies as i have dropped it in the toiled, in the shower, from two stories high to concrete, to being thrown out the window of a moving car. amazingly, the screen if fine :D. I could really use a case though

Love MY speck case on my iPod! I've used Speck on my last three iPods - from out of the box - into the Speck case, and it's like new for resale.
