The Mac|Life Show: How to Untangle Those Cords
Life's full of problems, so don't let your cords become an issue. This week's Mac|Life Show is all about getting those cords properly wrapped up so they're not impeding on all sorts of other areas in your life--like, uh, that other stuff in your bag.

Been a Mac fan since the beginning, but just bought my first MacBook Pro after many iMacs. Didn't know the MagSafe power brick had prongs until I saw this video and said, "Hey, my power brick doesn't have prongs! I wonder why...hey, look at these little things that flip out from the sides. I guess my power brick DOES have prongs..."
THANK YOU, MacLife (and Flo), for this simple video. Even we oldies can learn a thing or two!
P.S. Flo, too bad your parents didn't name you Lisa so your screen name could be "Lion." How perfect would THAT be right now? ;-)

People might wonder "why a figure 8". That is important. It means you are wrapping both clockwise and counter-clockwise, thus canceling out putting any twist in your cords - and twists are what lead to tangles = BAD.
If your mom didn't teach you this already, it is also the best way to coil up your vacuum cleaner power cord and other such things.

sorry for going off topic, but is Flo's last name with a capital L or I, I'm having a hard time telling because of the font, or maybe my eyes are just getting old :)
