Comment Contest: Things -- Get it Together Man
See that big pile of stickies and cocktail napkins on your desk. Yeah, you need to get that sorted out. Sure you could separate them into different piles. The pile you can read and the pile with undecipherable gibberish. Instead of trying to figure out if your supposed to pay the phone bill or take Bill to Phoenix, why not let Things task management software help you sort out your busy life.
Lucky for you, and your crazy pile of stuff, we're giving away a copy of Things from Cultured Code. All you have to do is post a comment in this article to win your very own copy of Things. That's it! The comment can be as long or as short as you like – one word will do!
Our Mac|Life super comment choosing machine will choose a random comment and award one lucky person Things, with a retail value of $49.95. The odds of winning are determined by the number of eligible entries received. The prize is nontransferable and must be accepted as awarded.
Here are the rules:
- You can only enter once. Commenting more than once will automatically disqualify you from the contest.
- The contest is limited to legal residents of the United States(excluding residents of Puerto Rico). Void where prohibited by law. Entrants must be at least 13 years of age.
- The contest will end at 11:59p.m. PST on July 28, 2009.

Things looks really pretty. I hope you pick me so that I can try it.
The reason I chose Toodle-do (apart from recommendations) was that I can use it on my home MAC, work PC, and Iphone.
Curious how Things will work for someone stuck using PC at work.

Actually, I have tons of CD-R's covering my desk, along with 2 drives, and a MIDI keyboard in there somewhere...

Hoping that Things gives me the wings
to fly through the clutter and crap.To lead to a land where all is at hand
and I won’t need a compass and map.

As one who suffers from this life-long disability, I see the potential in Things to help me on a daily basis.
It's easy to get distracted (LOOK! A PENNY!) and then you've completely lost your ... I know there's a potential point in here somewhere.
Being able to schedule some of the things you've collected (and, if you're like me, your "Someday" bucket is huge and getting bigger. There are good thoughts and ideas in there that would otherwise be lost because, in a very real sense, "Out of Sight, Out of Mind" is a constant problem.
Now I know they're in one of the buckets.
It needs a little tweaking to really target this additional market, but not much.
It's good, solid software and I'd like a copy.

Post-it notes, cocktail napkins, newspaper articles torn from the Wall Street Journal......I'd swear they were talking about me when they wrote this article. I could use a product like 'Things'.....especially if I won it.
