Without an alarm clock.

The best way echoes a line from M*A*S*H...I like my wife to wake me...a little at a time.

Late, on a Saturday morning to the smell of bacon, eggs and coffee! (is there an app for that yet?)

avatar

Chimera

In Saint Thomas, US Virgin Islands, naturally after sleeping fitfully, to a view of the Caribbean Sea and my wife walking in, camera in hand, excitedly telling me of the pictures she took of little lizards that morning on the balcony.

In my dreams, I imagine myself waking up to see that my iPhone has "magically" turned into a 64Gig iPad 2!

avatar

My 4 year old jumping on the bed and screaming "good morning daddy!!!". Well, maybe not the screaming part...

I don't think I can post my favorite way to wake up on a family friendly website. ;-)

I like to wake up naturally, at my own pace, without the aid of alarms. If I'm lucky, there's birdsong outside my bedroom window.

My favorite way to wake up – on an early fall morning, inside my warm sleeping bag on a soft sandbar in the middle of the Nueces River. My alarm - wild turkeys gobbling downstream.

avatar

sunbears

good old fashioned buzzing or beeping alarm clock. although i'd love to try one where it slowly fades in music louder and louder. does this one do that?

avatar

My alarm clock is a yellow lab who wakes up, stretches (very loudly), yawns, and bangs her wrecking ball of a tail all over me, furniture, and the cat.

I also live in Florida and enjoy breath-ing in the morning!

avatar

I head to the front of the house and breath some fresh air. I live in Floirda on a little lake and watch all the critters in the morning. I look around and see all this great beauty and say to myself, "life is good!"

avatar

Easy to do as the sun rises...that's my favorite way, other than waking to the smell of coffee!

avatar

Ok so I am incredibly light sleeper, and so with this said, I always, and I mean always wake up 5 to 10 minutes before the alarm goes off!

EmperorToro

The sound of my kids laughing

Leaving the TV on works all the time.

I will be 70 soon! My favorite way to wake up would be to have someone reach over me and turn off that damn alarm and tell me to linger in bed for awhile. Short of that, very short of that would be for my IPAD to tell me to get up and go hunt for a man who can tell me to turn off that damn alarm and linger in bed for awhile!

I Don't. I hate waking-up!

I like to wake up without using an alarm and just waking up quietly. Being retired is just great!

I'm recovering from brain surgery and love to wake up without a headache. I've been searching for a way to use the "gentle wake" features of these apps while keeping my device charged.

avatar

I use the WhiteNoise app. It has a very cool sound loop of tree frogs that slowly increases in volume. Pleasant way to wake up.

avatar

ilove my mac

I used to wake up to the phineas and verb song "today's gonna be a great day" but my dock quit working :(

avatar

aiborin

I have a playlist of top rated songs. My alarm app plays this list slowly increasing the volume. No sudden jolts and always a great tune in the morning!

avatar

We wake up with the alarm set to music, unless our beagles decide we need up before the alarm goes off.

avatar

I wake up using my iPhone with the Back to the Future theme song playing every morning with the title, "RUN FOR IT MARTY!"

No alarm, just getting up when I wake up! Though waking up while on vacation is a close second! :-)

After being deployed for almost a year to Afghanistan, waking up next to my beautiful wife with some smooth R&B in the background would be the beginning of a perfect day everyday. Semper Fi.

I think I would like to wake up with " here comes the sun " blasting the speakers,

avatar

CaptainV45

My favorite way to wake up is peacefully being woken by the sun shining through my bedroom window. But anything that isn't a screaming newborn at two am is my favorite at the moment.
