My favorite way to wake up – on an early fall morning, inside my warm sleeping bag on a soft sandbar in the middle of the Nueces River. My alarm - wild turkeys gobbling downstream.

My alarm clock is a yellow lab who wakes up, stretches (very loudly), yawns, and bangs her wrecking ball of a tail all over me, furniture, and the cat.

I head to the front of the house and breath some fresh air. I live in Floirda on a little lake and watch all the critters in the morning. I look around and see all this great beauty and say to myself, "life is good!"

Ok so I am incredibly light sleeper, and so with this said, I always, and I mean always wake up 5 to 10 minutes before the alarm goes off!

I will be 70 soon! My favorite way to wake up would be to have someone reach over me and turn off that damn alarm and tell me to linger in bed for awhile. Short of that, very short of that would be for my IPAD to tell me to get up and go hunt for a man who can tell me to turn off that damn alarm and linger in bed for awhile!

I use the WhiteNoise app. It has a very cool sound loop of tree frogs that slowly increases in volume. Pleasant way to wake up.

I have a playlist of top rated songs. My alarm app plays this list slowly increasing the volume. No sudden jolts and always a great tune in the morning!

My favorite way to wake up is peacefully being woken by the sun shining through my bedroom window. But anything that isn't a screaming newborn at two am is my favorite at the moment.
