My 8 year old would now have another reason to monoplozize my iphone. I'm all about sharing but it is now to the point that he might truely need to get his own. On second thought, it may be the reason to get him an iPod touch... that's of course if the wife allows it!! But it would definitely help out in making the case for him.

Choppers have always fascinated me. I hope I win this toy :-)

avatar

davidi

To get my beer from the kitchen so I don't have to get up.

avatar

ilove my mac

I'd fly it around my new garage (the new house is on stilts so it's pretty big). I'd also attach a laser pointer and drive my dog crazy.

Wow I would love to have one of these to use with my middle school iClub. We would make a tour of our building and campus with this tool during the club time. I would also have the students do some outdoor filming during sporting events, community events and publish to the web. We are a rural district and have a lot of land around or school. Students could design an obstacle course for others to fly through, learning control techniques. Teaching kids to use these tools turns them on to discovering ways technology can be used. Who knows, it might even inspire a whole new career for many of them!

rgcummings

I can use it to harass coworkers! :-)

I'll fly it in a Mega Bus while driving down the highway ;)

avatar

rustybaum

my cat would love this!!!!

I would use my handy dandy duct tape and tape on my iPhone. Then, I would set my phone on video mode. I take out my controller (the ipad) and voila, you have a perfect spy cam to spy on the fish with (who is obviously a ninja).

avatar

Nigh Train Shadow

Used to confuse and bemuse other students in the dinning hall.

I just moved into a new house and it has a big open floor plan. My cat just loves the big open space and is so funny running around and sliding on the hardwood floors. This would be so much fun to fly around and watch the cat follow it.

I'd make an educational fly-through of the pipe organ I'm building!

avatar

cldmello

We got a kitchen chopper today ... will be great to get a real toy chopper now

Neighborhood Watch Crow Patrol. Actually, use the helicopter to entertain my daughter.

avatar

Aristocat

I have always had a deep need to fly, this looks like a safe way to get off the ground!

avatar

vinnie39@gmail.com

I would use it to put the star on my christmas tree...nuff said!

avatar

linuxnoob

Aerial photos with a small digital camera

avatar

myztero

Terrorize the neighbor's dog that won't stop barking!

avatar

rabbittpro

I'd give it to my grandson & let him enjoy himself.

avatar

VonOMatic-1836

The squirrels run the power lines across my yard and Bug my rescue greyhounds. If I get good at it I bet I could knock him off. LOL

avatar

JSWeathers

I'm in real estate, and I'd use it to take aerial photos of homes we have listed for sale

avatar

tkane18

I would attach a lot of lights to it and hover it around the neighbor's house across the street. She's a UFO fanatic! That should get her going.

avatar

julambl75

If I win I would open it on Christmas and then just have fun with it and it would be to have something to to when I'm bored or sad.

avatar

kistian09

If I win the helicopter…. I will first propose to my girlfriend and if she says yes!!! (that I know she will!!), I’ll pull out my iPhone to use my new HELO TC to give her the ring… while we are at a resort on the beach

avatar

macbookpro220

to have fun!!!

avatar

Cobreezy

If I won, this would directly go to my 12 year old son for a x-mas gift. He would be stoked if he knew that it can be controlled with his iPhone. (crossing my fingers)

avatar

Bownse

I hope to win this so I can keep an eye on the neighborhood without having to be part of one of those pesky neighborhood watch programs! I'll mount a small camera with a wireless feed so I can see everything. That'll keep those rascally kids off my lawn!

avatar

narniafan

I would use it to entertain family and friends and have fun with it!

avatar

element_46

I would use it to have some fun during study breaks.

avatar

TheBlueScorpion

I would give it to my 11 year old son, and supervise.

avatar

clunney

1. get iOS controlled helicopter (preferably free)
2. Attach small laser pointer to underbelly
3. Annoy cats, small children, coworkers, spouse, etc
4. Watch as thoroughly annoyed children, coworkers, spouse, etc smash small, defenseless helicopter to tiny bits.
5. go to step 1, repeat as necessary

avatar

chauncey007

Shazam!

avatar

InternetComplete

I think I would definitely give my cats a good work out by chasing them around and generally harassing them with the chopper. Plus you can yell out Arnold lines like "Get to the CHOPPER!" all day long!

avatar

Suskam

I would load it up with food and toys, fly around the world and distribute all the goods to the needy children of the world - oh, wait, how big is it?!

avatar

JBracy

I would use it to spend some more quality time with my 9 year old son!

avatar

jjq224

I have no idea - maybe if you just let me win the helicopter it would give me incentive to come up with something!

:-)

avatar

HuntingInWY

I would use it to do surveillance of a hunting area to locate elk.

avatar

adcockcole

id use it to record bird eye footage of motorcycle stunts at my track

avatar

hypnotoad

I would use it as an excuse to buy an iPhone 4S. :-)

avatar

jsnowbordr47

When I'm stuck in traffic, attach a flipcam to the bottom, then send it through my sunroof so I can see what is causing the delay, see the next exit, and see potential detours.

avatar

gholwick

Upon mastering the world of rotary flight, I could do a story for MacLife about this product's entertainment potential, or I could just entertain my friends and family.

avatar

urbansombrero

I would add an small camera and shoot a small horror movie where the helicopter is a haunted by a disgruntled geek. It stalks and slays neighborhood children but meets its match when it kills the brother of super geek boy.

Or maybe it should be a holiday theme movie...

avatar

imthecomputerguy

I would let my kids use this as a drone in their airsoft wars. lol

avatar

Godzdude

I would use it when at high school/college sporting events!!! It would make them much more enjoyable!!!

avatar

kennyflaming

If I won this I would spend HOURS playing with my grandson - (BTW-My grandson is the cutest/smartest kid in the world)

His dad (My Son-in-law) happens to be a lead tech for a Helicopter training simulator company. They train HC pilots for both military and commercial. The family is really into HC's

Your grandson cant be all that because MINE is!

You need to ask your SiL to help you and Moustro with double posting. :)

avatar

lurch956

Since I've recently taken up remote control aircraft with my son-in-law and grandson, this would be a nice addition. Also, I could use it to patrol the yard and scare off invading dogs and cats. I have two cats and both are pretty tame. Ok, very tame. Due to medical treatments (Thanks a lot, Bob Barker). Poor things could use some air support.

avatar

ChasCam580

I would rig it to dive bomb pigeons.

avatar

SteveSJS

Fun with winding up our two Bengal cats AND my wife!
