Most developers have reacted to Apple’s new review process with a mostly positive slant — after all, any news is good news when it comes to the App Store, right? Maybe not, says VoiceCentral developer Riverturn in a recent blog.
Don’t put all of your eggs in the cloud’s ample basket — or in this case, Google Docs — right now. At least that’s the opinion of Dave Girouard, president of Google’s enterprise division, who recently warned that their cloud-based Google Docs is not ready to fully dethrone Microsoft Office.
When it comes to Microsoft, it pays to be careful what you say in public. That’s what Simon Aldous found out the hard way recently when he proclaimed that Windows 7 “borrowed” a little bit of the Mac mojo during a recent reseller’s conference.

But October isn't over yet -- we've got one more week, and I've got a fancy, custom-designed Brenthaven messenger bag on the line for one lucky donor. Follow the jump for more.

like to see added to our Giving Page, just email me at susie at maclife
dot com and I'll put it on there.
It's Week 3, and we're at $182 donated so far. This week I'm ready to make a deal: If we can get that total up to $250, I'll kick in the next $50 myself. So how about it, ready to help some kids together? Follow the jump for more...
After week 1, we've raised $81 and impacted 176 students! Donate to the DonorsChoose Challenge this week, and you could win the iHome iP71, a rad set of computer speakers with a built-in iPod dock. Follow the jump to learn more...
