“Drum like a pro” is JamKit’s slogan, and while we hate to be nitpicky... well, what pro plays a 27-piece drum kit using two fingers? Then again, “Drum like you were playing a really complicated but slick game of Simon, and match your skills against other finger-drummers worldwide” is a bit unwieldy.
Even in an industry with such evocative and artful names as "Cut the Rope" and "Angry Birds," Desert Zombie: Last Stand may still qualify as one of the worst, most cliche video game names in history. That said, the game itself actually looks pretty cool, and the graphics are absolutely gorgeous.
Nielsen, a global leader in measurement and information, released a report today detailing the current US smartphone market. The report mirrors other recent data that suggests that Android is the top overall smartphone operating system, but Apple is the top smartphone manufacturer.

There is a whole lot of sun, and Apple would like to use some of its rays to charge your mobile device. This has been a targeted technology for Cupertino since at least 2009, when Apple won its first solar powered portables patent. Now, apparently, solar charging cells on future generation portable Apple devices might just see the light of day.
According to a report from DigiTimes today, Apple has progressed past simply "evaluating" if solar technolgoy was feasable for portable devices, and is now considering “inclusion of Taiwan-based solar firms in [its] supply chain.”

Yes, it's true -- there are still people out there doing the AIM chatting thing or getting their Yahoo Chat on. We know, we know, it's hard for us to believe it too. But for those of us who have our benighted friends trapped in the late 90s, there is still hope. We can chat with them on our iOS devices and still manage to grab our Facebook friends and our Gmail folks. These may not be the one app to bind them but they come pretty close when you rock the multi-client instant messaging apps.
