EA has confirmed that Spore Origins for the iPhone and iPod touch is on track to launch in September. Mac Spore will release on September 7, but because that falls on a Sunday, mobile players might have to wait until Monday to get it at the App Store. EA has confirmed that the game version of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released for the Mac, alongside PC and console editions. TransGaming is porting the title to run on Intel, OS X Macs, just like it did with last year’s Order of the Phoenix. EA plans to ship the Mac version on the same day as the others, although with the recent change of the movie date to Summer, 2009, the game date is uncertain. Since the game follows the movie story so closely, we expect the game will also be delayed.
