ichat to phone
issue 103, march 2005, on page 50, in the ask us section. well i tried it and after i typed in the message and pressed enter, it replied that the person is offline. i even tried my self...i'm probably not doing it right somewhere i.e. prefrences or address book...can someone give me some info on what i am doing wrong?

as long as your phone supports sms (aka text messaging) you should be able to merely start a New Chat With Person (File-> New Chat With Person) and type +1areacodenumber in the resulting address field. it works for me all the time.

I tried this as well and it gives me the 'person not online error' too.
