I didn't know anything about cheating but they had the best stats site I've seen.  Since the one for macaddict isn't working I used that one.

Well after all their blatant cheating who cares and good ridance.

You haven't got a clue now do you? Just because there was a group of 10 cheaters on our team, that doesn't mean our other 3500 members are cheaters. Cheaters can choose any team at will, even yours and there is nothing any team or team leader can do about it.

Teams cannot be held responsible for cheaters on their team.

I broke into the top 100 today and was so looking forward to seeing it on the Seti-nl site..

Oh c'mon rick we've been over this for the past year and a half almost two, In fact we over at KWSN blew the whistle on you guys the first second and third time you were cheating.

You were busted all three times.

Face it you have cheaters, a lot of them, you know it and did not do a damn thing about it.

In fact I truly doubt that you are innocent.

Ahh but Rick embraced and defended the cheating claiming that he knew for a fact that it was all legit, they even went as far as to fabricate stories to justify the numbers.

In fact not only did they do that but they went around to the top five or so boards and flaunted their remarkable gains as they overtook team after team.

The 'Rick Groenewegen' guy ... that's me. And yeah, that is also the guy estimating 41% of his team's production was cheated. So don't claim I embrace cheating. I've submitted a list of 21 suspicious accounts to Dave Anderson (usernames & e-mail adresses) about 6 months ago. But Berkeley wouldn't do a f#ck about it. If you've read the threads at Ars you would also know that. For more than 6 months our team was (rightfully) accused of cheating and we couldn't do a thing about it. Do you have any idea what that's like for the thousands of honest crunchers on our team? We couldn't even be proud of our teams production because we lost our international credibilty.

I was also the one who reported the account to Berkeley during our previous 'scandal'. So please do not claim I'm not trying to keep my team clean of this filth. I can't help the fact that these creeps join our team. It's very easy to keep pointing the finger to one team, but you might have noticed that Anandtech, BBR, Ars, HFR and many many other teams had cheaters too. Maybe here's an idea: Instead of b*tching about S@NL all the time, maybe you should head over the the forum of OcUK and start a topic about their #1 who produces about 8000+ WU's each day.

I'm not going to do that because in The Netherlands we've got a nice little principle called 'innocent until proven guilty', which means that everyone is innocent until an official authority can prove it otherwise. That authority I'm talking about is Berkeley. Not Ars, not S@NL, not KWSN ... only Berkeley. I despise cheaters, but what I also despise is grand witch hunts by people who haven't got the power to check if someone's guilty.

And yeah. In the past I've defended someone who should not have been defended. Why? Because he had me fooled. Sorry, but I'm human too. But I've never lied, and I never made up stories. I challenge you to submitting a link where I 'fabricate stories to justify the numbers'. I know only one person who was doing this, and that was the person who was being accused.
