I seriously saw a girl on the bus today who looked almost like that - her arms were bony, her collarbone stuck out, the whole bit, and she must have been 6'2".
But from the waist down it was different. curves++;

I find it impossible to understand how people can find it attractive. It's not like "type" or anything where you can usually understand the other person's pov.

I don't know about you guys, but I don't see many "anorexic" girls running around anymore. I see the opposite. I guess it's hard to find the nice medium between Dia de Los Muertos and Shamu.

Just started, so it hasn't completely blown... yet...
Already looking at some serious time spent crunching in the computer lab doing a design project. But the hardest, scariest part is looking for a job. That's what's worrying me more, to be honest.
How's grad school treating you? Has it snowed yet?

The job thing, yeah. One of my ChemE friends (Matt, I think I mentioned him to you before) graduated this sem and is STILL looking for a job. Right now he's working at PetCo. How much would that suck?
Hasn't snowed here yet, and the weather's been really awesome the last week or so. Just beautiful. 
It's fun here too. Much less serious atmosphere than Berkeley (my PI has "basketball" marked onto his weekly schedule) and a large beer culture, which ain't a bad thing.
Oh, and taking 11 units / sem is a good thing.

Yeah, 14 units of techs ain't the ideal swan semester. But I made up for it w/ the ultimate summer: jazz and Shakespeare classes where I did barely any work and got A's, plus a ton of Irish friends who could out drink a herd of elephants. Ever see the sunrise FOR A STRAIGHT WEEK? I think I must've aged my liver 3 extra years in two months. Fun times indeed.
And keeping on topic... most of the Irish were normal/skinny sized. They drank and drank and drank and yet weren't huge. I wonder how they do that.

I Google Image Searched for Shalom Harlow. She's always been thin, but she used to have a little meat on her bones. Her breasts were bigger, and she didn't have that cadaverous look to her face.
