Shock at seeing G4TV today.
Before you ask what I was watching G4TV for, I was playing flip the channel (although I do sometimes catch Anime Unleashed).
Call for Help is back.
With Leo LaPorte.
And according to the info from the channel guide display it was a new (read first run) episode.

Don't you listen to TWiT? If you don't then you should!

Re: Shock at seeing G4TV today.
It's supposedly on at 8am pacific time, but the TV Guide listings haven't updated, so my Comcast DVR thinks something else is on at that time (which is kinda funny when you realize G4 is owned by Comcast). As soon as that's all straightened away, I'm setting it for series record since I'll be out taking kids to school at 8am.
It's all about the Hamiltons, baby.

... I may have to start watching the channel then if they are bringing back the old cast and crew!

That's almost enough to make me want cable TV. Not quite.
I know the whole TWiT gang is into this internet media thing. Podcasts, IPTV, all that stuff. I wonder if G4 will allow a Bittorrent version of the show.

I think it's just Leo that's the same since it's produced in Toronto. But, Kevin Rose is going to do a few episodes a month as guest co-host. On this week's TWiT, they talked about the irony of Kevin being back on G4 after working so hard to get out of his old contract.

Haha Canada!!
G4 merged with TechTV, right? They ruined TTV. Give me Unscrewed without the videogame clip show!

I didn't have cable before the merge. [flamebait]I watch G4 sometimes[/flamebait], but only really for X-Play. What's this "Call For Help" show about?

Spirit was crushed; now is fading, But I want to help make things right.
Because I can see and I can feel, and you can see and you can feel
So why don't we both either stand up and fight
Or at least together we'll call it a night.

Are you on crack or something? Leo came up to Toronto to live there and do call for help there.

Re: Shock at seeing G4TV today.
I've been DVR'ing it since the first show on the 29th. I like it a lot! It's kind of a mix between the old Call for Help and The Screen Savers shows. All of the G4 episodes right now are a few months behind Canada's. Around the first of the year we will be caught up.
