Yes, yes it does.  But that title is one that is thrown around rather liberally around here.

Is posting pix of your gf like tattooing her name onto your skin, or something?

As relief organizations provide food, water, clothing and other
essentials, Brown will take a number of steps to help some of the
students at higher education institutions who have no hope of
attending their colleges and universities this semester.  We will
accommodate as many of these students as space allows, providing free
tuition for one semester.

if your school was wiped out, Brown will give you entrance and free tuition.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I hope you (and maybe a few others) learn from this that the only way to truly know is to just go for it -- don't let apprehension or fear of rejection stop you from ever doing anything in life. Yes, you will fail sometimes, and yes, you will be rejected sometimes...but that's to be expected, and you should never take it too seriously when it happens. It's times like this, when the truly wonderful happens, that makes the rejections and failures worthwhile. Besides, the more often you try, the better chance you'll have at success.

I learned that lesson too late in life, and when I finally did so, I realized I had missed out on a great many opportunities because I was too afraid to even try.

Congratulations, and may this be the first of many successful attempts (at whatever you want to go for in life)! up

cheers

Like how the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the topic title was Katrina and The Waves?

Irony is almost ironic isn't it?. Katrina and the Wave's. Can there be anymore rain on that parade? Now there's a good nomination for the new state anthum eh?
