So several different games have been made as per Jack's retarded instructions, but now he's calling his proposal a satire, and refusing to pay the $10,000 to charity. (And yes, I know that at least one of those games up there is a mod, but his proposal doesn't state otherwise.) So, what does Penny Arcade do? Call it attention-hounding if you want, but they just made the donation themselves, in Jack Thompson's name. Just, so, awesome.

lol, my wife has the exact same reaction whenever I talk about JT Douchenut. Honest to god, it helps her fall asleep at night, and she wakes up (in the morning) and tells me he's an idiot, or a flaming smurftard, or some such other fun descriptor, and then off she goes to class/work.

It's the peril of being a gamer married to an understanding but non-gaming woman. Mine happily nods -- and smiles and frowns at the right times -- but doesn't like to play anything except Super Mario Bros. Although her old-school gaming knowledge did help her correctly identify the Donkey Kong theme song during a husbands-versus-wives Trivial Pursuit (DVD Edition) bash the other night. Cogsarnit. Even more embarrassingly, she got it on an All Play after none of us guys could name it. Grrr.
