Many reviews around the web, including the Apple Cult member barefeats.com have said the Dell 24" is a lot better than the Apple 23" and the Dell 20" and Apple 20" are essentially the same parts in different cases. I prefer the look of the Apple, but the price definitely doesn't justify it.

I've seen them side by side and the apple monitor looks a great deal better. But i would still go with the dell because its cheaper.

That is because they have different backlights. I guess fj thinks of the backlight as part of the case.

It's not tax time yet and my current budget won't support one,... 2 more months!
