RTCW2!
I thought somebody would have already posted this - confirmation at last after the months of tantalisation! Seems the news that Quake 4 going gold prompted the announcement, so here's one to look forward to:

The latest chapter of the Wolfenstein franchise, built atop a new graphics engine aimed specifically at next generation hardware
IIRC that really is Carmack's new engine, and the last before he intends to retire. Even without the delay, if your rig is marginal for Doom 3, it won't run this at all.
