Make it illegal to have sex with dead people in the whole us not just Cali and waste the tax payers money doing it.What tax money did that law waste?
They wasted the governments time debating and passing the law... time that could be spent on more productive things.
That's my point exactly if we had Arnold for President he would waste time and money on bullsmurf instead of bigger things like war on drugs , iraq war, etc.
It was a paragraph in a new law he signed. How long does it take you to write a paragraph?
Thats about how much time was "wasted" on this.

Re: Jeb Bush Predictions
If there is a conservative Republican backlash against the neo-cons, I expect Jeb Bush will not be the candidate of choice.
As far as changing the rules to permit non American-born people to be elected president, it could happen in this term, but it will be accompanied with a rule change to allow more than two consecutive terms. If the neo-con agenda withstands conservative Republican pressure, then the last person they'd want is someone like Arnold; they'd want their George W Bush back in the office. No, it can't be done this term. It normally takes years, since it has to be approved by state legislatures as well as Congress. At this point, the amendment hasn't even been written yet (that we know of).
No Ahnuld in 2008. Maybe by 2016, if he hasn't died of steroid-related health issues by then.Steroids usually only cause health issues if you chronically abuse them. Mild use doesnt cause that much harm.
Arnold's use was anything but mild. You've got to be kidding the guy was a serious habitual user for many years. That's how he got where he is, illegal drugs. Good lesson for the nations youth.
So was everyone else at the time. It was just how things were done. They weren't schedule 2 until 1990 anyway.

Re: Jeb Bush Predictions
Jeb will not run and wouldn't be elected if he did. He's not a born-again rightie-tightie like his brother. He's a Conservative Christian Inc. type dude but not a "real" Christian. He won't run because the ultra-right born agains that control the primary process would never pick him to run.
That and he has a few skeletons, but Americans don't seem to care about that anymore so maybe not. His old best friend and business parter for a dozen years was arrested for cocaine smuggling, but Jeb didn't know anything about it.
George H. W. Bush left office the most unpopular president of this century. You always try to out do your dad.

too young and too soon for Obama
too soon; not too young.
Yes, technically he is of age to serve as President. To clarify what I meant to say, at this time the people of the US would look upon his age and view him too inexperienced to serve in the office.

He's a Roman Catholic. And that's the special interest group that prevented Kerry from winning. They would support Jeb, however, since he is anti-choice, unlike Kerry.

Re: Jeb Bush Predictions
I think Jeb in '08 is the plan right now. He won't run if G.W. manages to convince another 5% of the populace that the Bush family is a curse on America, though. That's not unlikely, either.

Re: Jeb Bush Predictions
There was a so called 'expert' on this subject on CSPAN recently about who, currently, he predicts are likely candidates for both parties in 2008. Jeb wasn't mentioned, and no one in the audience asked about him.
Who was mentioned: George Allen for the Republicans. Hillary Clinton for the Democrats. He cautioned on Clinton because he suggested that someone from the south or the midwest, based on current history, would be favored by the right leaning independents who are the swing vote. He very strongly suggested that the Democrats HAD to move to the middle.
Course, this is based on current events and people currently in the news. I disagree with him but what the smurf do I know! He gets big bucks for his opinion so he must be correct.

Jed, a chip off the blockhead, is not the dim bulb that Little George is.
But I can never imagine the country would want a 3rd Bush in the White House. Enough, we say.

Re: Jeb Bush Predictions
Personally, I wish Jeb had been elected in 2000 instead of George.
At least he knows how to handle a smurfing hurricane. I haven't really investigated him a lot, but I haven't seen anything that suggests he'd be any worse than his stupid brother.
