announcing email sender
is there a way i can get my mac to announce the name of the sender. i'm always getting emails right after i sit down and i would like to hear who just sent me an email without having to get back up. thanks.

This sounds like a job for AppleScript!
...if you were using Entourage, I am sure you could set up a rule.
