Re: Anyone else have DVD burning problems?
I'm sure if you talk to the admin and explain your reasoning that he/she will disable it for you.

I'm still trying to figure out if you're a girl posing as Macboy4139, or a boy posing as a girl, and a bit confused sexually. <shrug> laughinol

Who is the admin?
The storm starts when the drops start dropping. When the drops stop dropping, the storm starts stopping.

"Burning the disk failed because communication to the disc drive failed. (Error code 0x80020022)"
That's what I get if I use Tiger's Finder to burn DVDs on my new LaCie DVD±R 16x drive; works fine with the Apple- installed SuperDrive. If I use Toast 6/7; no problem either drive. I'll check my setting for putting the HD to sleep; it makes sense this could interfere with a burn

The iApps only support burning to an internal drive. Not sure about the finder, but you may want to check.

Finder is a little different than iApps. It doesn't usually discriminate.
