Help needed changing write protected cvars.
In the original RTCW(for mac) you were able to enter a command like "+set sv_cheats 1" when you launched the app by holding down the shift key while clicking on the app. I am trying to change my "fs_homepath" but the shift key does not work the same way, and I can't change it from the console because it is a write protected cvar. Anyone have any ideas.

wait i'm confused...there's no single player to ET so i don't think you can cheat ever

no it's not for sp cheats. I was only using that as an example. I am trying to change fs_homepath.

If you change that kinda cvar, doesn't it eff up your game? Like won't you not be able to join any pb servers...
...but hey, what do I know
