Can't you make him his own special user group, so he can go to MiniThink but can't bug the rest of the forums?

It's a usergroup (formerly known as "Big Brother").
When someone is a member of the Free Speech Zone they're able to read and participate in every thread in the MacAddict Forums except threads in MiniThink. They can still read MiniThink, but they're not able to post. Bans are handed out for people who use alternicks to get around being in the Free Speech Zone.
