Does this make any sense?
Read this and see if it makes any sense. I just woke up, maybe I'll get it after lunch or something.
Please forgive all the grammatical errors, I copy & pasted from another source.
Three men go to a hotel and buy a room. The room costs 30$ so each man paid 10$. Later, the manager realized that the room only costs 25$. The manager sends one of his employees upstairs with the 5$. The employee didn't know how to split the 5$ between the three men so he gave each man 1$ and kept two for himself. If he gave each man 1$ back this means that they only paid 9$ each for the room right?
9 x 3 = 27. 27+ the two dollars the employee kept for himself is only 29. Where is the other dollar?

C'mon, it's always new to somebody, and today it is vaeaglefan's turn.
The problem is that the puzzle mixes 2 separate groups of money: one involving the three men, the other involving the manager and the employee. The three men have paid $27, of which the manager has $25 and the employee has $2.

So let me get this right someone please correct me if im wrong...
it is adding the 2 dollars the employee kept twice
it is not adding the 3 dollars they got back
they each paid 10 or 30 all together
30-3=27
the employee has 2
27-2=25
