The PT Cruiser is a rolling piece of scrap metal! It does not compete with either the Mini or Beetle.

Have you ever actuly sat in a new beetle? I'm 6'1" and 250 lbs I fit perectly fine in the beetle (front seats)
You must be a giant! All I know is I don't like eating my knees when I drive.
I'm 6'2" and I have to slide the seat up a bit when I drive my dad's Bug.
I'm 5'7" and I'm constantly hurting my head in the back seats of the Beetle.
I guess some cars fit certain people better.
P.S. in the MINI, did you try and change the seat height? Or maybe scoot it back? People, the seats in cars are adjustable these days
Oh, and I met a guy that was 6'8" at the Tiger release party and he drives a MINI Cooper S.
P.P.S. Oh, and the MCS's exhaust sounds better than both the Beetle's and the PT Cruiser's exhaust

The MINI's wheel base is too short to be compared to a Beetle. They aren't even the same class. It is like me saying that my Mustang is faster than your Ranger.
wheel base: 1.6 inches. Oh god, the poor children. That is such a difference. It's like comparing an SUV to a mustang. Go smurf your self. The beetle is a 2-door hatchback in the Sub-compact class. Guess what the Cooper is a 2-door hatchback in the sub-compact class.
Comparable cars in this class: Volkswagen Beetle
see:http://www.familycar.com/RoadTests/MiniCooper/
So the beetle is 300~ pounds heavier, but you know what 40 of that is the full size spare.
Comparable cars in this class: Ford Mustang, Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder
see:http://www.familycar.com/RoadTests/Volk … tleCabrio/
I don't see how the Beetle Cabrio is comparable to the Ford Mustang. Maybe this site isn't worth quoting?

Lets see. Two Doors, similar size, similar price, no roof
Guess what last year i was debating between an Eclipse Spyder and a Beetle Cabriolet. If I could stand the thought of a ford in my driveway I would have been considering that too. In the end I decided to keep my real car, the one that 5 full size adult actually fit into (VW Passat), and buy a used vert for summer. I got an 89 Rabbit vert, which is a lot like the Mini too, nimble, cramped and goofy looking. If the minis would have been out earlier, I probably would have look at them when I got my beetle. I sat in a Mini at a car show and know that there is no way I could have driven that thing comfortably. By your definition I fit in it, but side-to-side was horrible. I also felt the shifter was to far forward.
