It has already been mentioned, but I'll mention it again. There are a lot of big proteins being distributed lately. My G3/300 has been folding nonstop for 97 days. It is now finishing p623_TZ2_NAT, a 19.7 point protein with 400 steps. This unit was started 9 days ago and has a 14 day deadline. It appears that this is currently the largest protein out there.
So, anyone else getting these biggies and know how long they are requiring on your rig?

Re:
Actually, I used to contribute to the project, and I stopped when Folding Control broke under Jaguar. I came back for a couple of weeks under the GUI app, but for some reason I stopped! I can't remember why I quit though.
Anyway, I just downloaded the GUI app again, and guess what? I got myself a P629_vsd_ext - one of them 55 pointers! Yeah, so I guess my iMac G4/800 is back fighting the good fight, though with a deadline of 50 days, I suppose it'll be a while before we see the results of this puppy!

After all that talk, look what my newly upgraded beige G4/500 pulls in.
P627_vfd_ext
73 points, and a 50 day deadline
I'll keep you up to date on its progress.
So far:
2 of 200 steps in 2.5 hours.

Re:
Well, in that case:
39 of 200 steps (19.5%) done since my previous post for my 55 pointer.
Despite a 50 day deadline, it looks like I might get it done in 8 - 10 days.

Re:
22 of 200 steps (11%) in 29 hours.
Therefore, I should finish this unit in ~264 hours, or slightly less than 11 days.

Man, I wish I could sign me up for a couple of those bad boys!
It's just the luck of the draw. I don't know yet if it is "good" or "bad" luck though.
