I've voted. (*hopes fervently that this will influence the coming of KotOR 2 to Mac*)

NWN is one of the few commercial games with a Linux version available. Linux users tend to flock to whatever good games they can find. That's why Marathon Aleph One is so Linux-focused. Linux users play it more than Windows users, who have newer FPSs to play.
Not to mention the D&D angle. Geeks love D&D. Meanwhile, Windows users have their pick of games, and many prefer less geeky games.

I know about the Aleph One version for Linux, but Linux focused? Most Marathon players I know use Macs, the rest are Windows users, but Linux users? I should know about that. I'm sort of a Marathon evangelist. I'll go check my sources.

Hm, they appeared to have a splash screen when I saw it on my roommate's PC. Bah, I still want it on the Mac, though!

BioWare made the engine, since it was the same engine and tools used for the first KotoR.  They had no other involvement in the game's development.  Obsidian did the rest.

Personally, I'd rather see NWN 2 (which will also be Obsidian's work) than KotoR 2.  Star Wars has lost much of its luster.

Mac @ 15% now.

I still find that pretty impressive: Apple computers has... what, a ~5% marketshare still, but 15% of gamers game on Apple/Mac.

seriously tho, i agree with bat.  i think this poll is somewhat BS.  All those Linux voters are definitely PC gamers, giving PC a very large percentage.

Any poll with a self selected population is a joke.
