PSAT scores arent comparable to SATs no matter what your teachers tell you.

Same, 99th on the PSAT's, it said that I would have gotten a 31 on the ACT with the same test, however, they left off some questions making the highest true ACT score we could have gotten be a 32. It took my HS counselor like 30 minutes to explain some National Merit Somethingorother smurf. At least I got to skip Geometry on a meeting day... That was nice.

Re: SAT scores...
I got a 1420: 800 math, 630 verbal.
...
With my best friend at my side,
I face the new day in full stride.
I don't know what the future holds,
But I'll be waiting, proud and bold.

Re: SAT scores...
The PSATs have had a writing section for much longer than the SATs.
And it's true, the PSATs are not comparable to the SATs. So it really is completely pointless to try to make the calculation into those terms and get confused with old/new, etc. The PSAT has been the same for a number of years. Just give the three-digit score on your score sheet.
