I'm waiting for UC results as well as Carnegie Mellon (my #1) before I get too excited, but SLO was (is) one of my top schools so I know that I'm going to a college that I want to go to smile

Holy crap! Go to CPP! I'm in as a CE major as well! Then I can finaly beat your ass!

Hehe, did you go to the Engineering thing on saturday? I was trying to get ahold of you but alas...I could not.  Unfortunately for you now that I'm in SLO, Pomona has moved to the bottom of the list.  It was behind ASU anyways.

UC releases begin tomorrow...and with my astounding luck Berkeley will continue their infamous release-acceptances/denials-on-the-last-day-they-can (March 30th...12 days after the preferred SLO housing is due...) method of notification.  Ah well, CMU is the most important of them all and I have no idea when to expect their letter big_smile

Re: The Basement, Part Deux

More for me to celebrate. Later this week Hickory Tech (horrible name for a broadband company) is coming to my house to install a new DSL Line. I am going to have 6Mbps down and 864kbps up.

Icks, want me to run the file server? tongue

Re: The Basement, Part Deux

Hmm... you could, you could.  You could also just run a mirror, and I/we could work on a variation of the fileserver navigation that will either pull the file from both servers, or alternate file requests between the two.  That would cut down on our bandwidth usage, and it would be damn spiffy.

Of course, I've been wanting to customize the fileserver access for a while.  Make the web server do all the work, and direct the requests onward to the server(s).  It should be pretty easy with PHP.

We'll talk more.  You could easily be the file server for at least the duration of my server's downtime, but I'd have to wait until this weekend to get my compy up just so I could make a disk copy of the current file structure and get it to you for you to host.

(or--forgive my absent-mindedness--were you the one I sent DVDs to already?)

Sit on my face and tell me that you love me
I'll sit on your face and tell you I love you too
I love to hear you o-ra-lise
When I'm between your thighs
You blow me away.

Sit on my face and let my lips embrace you
I'll sit on your face and then I'll love you truly
Life can be fine if we both sixty nine
If we sit on our faces
In all sorts of places
And play till we're blown away.

Me neither, and my mind chooses to retain sanity by refusing to conjure any images of Z in connexion with those lyrics.

I think "Smurfing Dogs" lyrics are best kept away from here, too. Right time and place is not here, anytime.

One of those eh? My brother took an exchange trip to Scotland (College) and vistited a few castles, including the one where they filmed that movie. He picked one of those up and brought it back. Pretty neat.

I wasn't too impressed with the beer, but I loved the bottle, so I rinsed it out and brought it home with me.

And which castle did he visit?  The castle Aaaggghhhh...?
