Shameless self-promotion
Hey all, been lurking for a while, thought I would send in a post.
Joined the BOINC group (mind you, forcibly) after hoping to get to Classic WU 75,000. Never made it. They have now moved all my credits over as of Friday 06 Jan.

Worked like a dog on that! However, it does seem that not everyone is moving over as fast. The Team is much easier to cut through the ranks. I have been BOINC'ing for about a month and am already #23. Now that's a woot.
Keep up the good work everyone!

Re: Shameless self-promotion
Hi. Welcome and congratulations
I've noticed the difference in rank movement myself. I think part of it is due to all of the inactive people that were "bulking up" the classic lists, and the fact that the default sorting is by "recent average credit". I see you must have one heck of a farm, though.
By comparison, my little "garden" is slowly chomping along at #89 by average, or #39 by total.
If my plans to get a quad G5 come through, my average will go up, but nowhere near your level.

Re: Shameless self-promotion
Back again after several months away. Sigh. Keeping up is another full time job.
Not too bad. I work in a library lab in a university that digitizes rare materials (books, manuscripts, maps). We are all Mac, all the time. I have about 20 mirror door G4s, 7 G5s and a Cube. I am hoping that come this January We will get upgraded to the next level of machine to keep crunching with the best of them.
