Re: New Intel TV Ad
I wish my Mac would perform dull tasks but all it wants to do is play Chess...
Enjoyable advert but still doesn't actually go very far to, you know, selling a Mac or letting you know what Mac OS X is or does or where you can buy them.

Should only take 20-30 minutes for me to see it.

I still like the quote on the main page.
"What's an Intel Chip doing in a Mac? A whole lot more than it's ever done in a PC!"

Reminds me a little of the infamous "Lemmings" ad. Not the best idea to insult your potential customers.
I still believe in liberalism today as much as I ever did, but, oh, there was a happy time when I believed in liberals.

Really brilliant ad. It has such... poise and power.
I agree--> the voiceover does make it seem like the 1984.
And indeed, like 1984 with the introduction of the first Mac, today is the first intel processor macs.
better than the iPod nano ad in any case.

It's a wonderful ad. It really makes it look like Intel was turning to Apple... and not the other way around. I also love the way it looks.

Well don't leave us in suspense! Is it a new video game?
With my best friend at my side,
I face the new day in full stride.
I don't know what the future holds,
But I'll be waiting, proud and bold.

Those poor intel chips... stuck in machines that pretty much did the same tasks... and had a butt load of games.
But yea. Liberated... or something.
