Re: BREAKING NEWS: Intel Mini's and iBooks to be released on 28th
I guess I am the only one who is getting stupifieingly bored with "HOT NEWS" about some possible trivial change in the iPod line.
All I have to do is read the word iPod and I feel like taking a nap.
"and it's not surprising that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

M8719Z/A is 10.2 Server, I believe. MB719Z/A would be a personalized product, but it doesn't match the current iPod product number scheme. Looks more legit than images i've seen in the past, though. I still call fake.
I never for a moment thought it was M8. Those who do must have bad eyesights
Or be better with regard to Apple product numbers, which ever since the original Macintosh (M0001) have adhered to the Mnnnn scheme...

the current number scheme at apple is (1P)MAnnn and they're going to a 16 digit code in the near future.

Just to emphasize what Gozer stated, Apple ran out of "M" numbers and has moved onto "MA". MA numbers used to be "special" models, like the retail-only "ultimate" configuration of a PowerBook. Since then, all Apple products are moving towards MA. The "LL/A" at the end is changed to "Z/A" for a custom configured product, though personalized iPods generally use "PA" instead of "MA", sticking to the "LL/A" at the end. It would not surprise me in the least if we move into "MB" product numbers in the future.
"Overall, the results are pretty clear: Mac users might not actually be smarter than PC users, but they certainly use better English and a larger vocabulary to express more complex thinking."
