The Top Mac Team?
We may not be the top Mac team for much longer unless we can pick up some more processors. Team MacOS X is gaining on us pretty fast with 339 processors compared to our 240 processors.
Come on guys (and girls)! Let's get to work!
Oh, and, JediKnightChewie, stop booting into OS 9!

Re: The Top Mac Team?
i cant help it!!! i swear!!!! id really rather not!!! but its not my fault!!!!!
im the only one who likes/ has any feeble understanding of x in my house, and so i live with a bunch of archaic freaks who want their 9 so that they can do their word processing and check their email with *shudder* IE, they dont care about the fact that they spent the money on decent computers, and they arent doing anything diffrently then they were on the 8 year old computers we replaced last spring
and anyways, since my bro is the spoiled brat of the house and gets what ever he wants (usually) since my bro just took the comp from his room (ggrrrrrrrrr
long story, lets just say that his highest grade was a c- in PE, and i had a 4.0, and i could never have a computer in my room
) i have to boot into 9 so that he can play MY computer games that I bought with MY own money
oops, am i ranting again.... well, you made me
ps, 1200th post (sleepy time for the wookiee
, lets see how many frames i can get my comp to do for me before i have to restart tommorrow morning
)[/i]

Re: The Top Mac Team?
Sounds like you need one of those new fangled macs that can't boot into OS9.
There are no stupid questions, but there are a LOT of inquisitive idiots.

Re: The Top Mac Team?
Team Mac OSX, and when you go to their page from Folding@Home and click on the link to their home page, it actually goes to a web site. One not nearly as nice as ours used to be, but still a whole helluva lot better than the dead air we have now.
I believe the whole point of having things like the graphical client and screen saver, etc., was to make distributed computing appealing to a wide range of computer users and not just hard-core geeks who thumb their noses at bells and whistles. Having a nice-looking home page and the Folding Control were two things that made being on this team special and I would hope that they both could be resurrected.
Thanks.

Re: The Top Mac Team?
TeamMacOSX Thanks you all for the spirited battle. I knew we would pass you eventually, and we finally have. Keep up that folding guys, lets keep the Mac Folding on top!
