I once saw on a cooking show that aluminum foil can be used safely in any microwave.  Apparently, the trick is to make sure that it is completely flat, and there are no folds, creases, or wrinkles.

That's basically what the Mythbusters determined as well. Knives and spoons weren't even causing issues. Besides don't all those popcorn bags, microwave brown-able food packages, and microwavable dinner cups have metal in them.

I looked thru the paperwork on the microwave. It isn't a convection/microwave. The wire rack is to add more cooking space.

Yeah, but the best place and the place where it's going are 2 different places The jack placements aren't where i'd like them, and right now i don't want to have them changed, so the mac is going to have to be in the bedroom.
