Gotta love Google.
If you don't wanna read the whole link... " The prestigious SWOP certification means you can use the system to approve press production jobs onscreen without the need for hard-copy proofs."
Why isn't anything raisin-flavored?

A PowerMac all-in-one?! That would be terrible.
It's called iMac Core Duo. As fast as a dual processor G5... but the foot print of a table lamp.
The Dell monitors seem to be B-quality panels, while the Apple monitors all have better response time, colours and backlights.
"Will you marry me, Le Chan?" "You bet I will!"
iMac Core Duo, 1.83 GHz AKA Pegasus
PowerBook 12'' 1.5 GHz... no nickname yet.

That is certainly a interesting concept, but since Dell sell so many lcd panel, are u sure there is that many "B" quality panel in the fab?

I'm sure there could be "B" quality components in their stuff. Even "C" quality. Heck, they even sell computers with Windows XP on them. I don't know who lets them get away with that.

One thing i know is that Dell does not make money from the base models of any of there computers. They make money from the add-ons like ram, faster processor, bigger HDs, DVD burners, etc. The base price of the computer is basically the computer at a few % above cost.
