Here is a nice little tid bit for MacBook Pro users. Mine stopped whining when switched over to XP. I switch back to OS X then the whine came back. I didn't notice before because all I use windows for is playing games... usually theres alot of sound from the games so I wouldn't notice even if it did whine. But I used XP for a bit looking for a whine and there was none.

Anyone else with a MacBook can confirm this? If so maybe Apple can fix something in OS X.
