"Me too!" Companies that just won't die
GM and Microsoft seem so much alike now. For the moment, I'll refer to them both as GMM.
Basicly every car on the road has airbags, abs, blah safety stuff. GMM proclaims it as 'advanced'.
Basicly security is boring, and just 'done' in everyone else's OS. GMM proclaims it as 'Job one!' and 'Critically important to us!'
Basicly they're both going to release a new product, and claim 'you just HAVE to have this!'
The innovation is gone. The ideas for stuff that doesn't suck is gone. The idea that JUST building something that is the same quality as others (yikes or BETTER) is just gone. Why can't they figure out that 1,000 new 'features' won't sell a product ? Why can't they learn that a painted turd is still going to smell ?
One other thing -
When their stock tanks, why the smurf should the taxpayers have to pick up the tab for piss poor management, lack of innovation, and quality that is piss poor ?
Just build it RIGHT, and quit 'leveraging buzzword2 buzzword3 buzzword4 and 5' and people will buy it, smurf!
On a side note, go Apple!

But I love my XBox. It's fastastic, powerlicious, and best of all, super compact!

I don't have anything against their hardware for the most part. I just don't like their OS and a lot of other software they make (sorry but Office is bloated as hell).

xBox never really impressed me with it's games. the 360 hasn't either. i'll keep my PS2, my GameCube, and wait for Wii and PS3.
BTW, what the hell was Nintendo thinking with Wii? Revolution was MUCH cooler, but too close to the 360.

Kid: Can I go now?
Mom: No. You still haven't eaten your asparagus
Kid: But I have to go wii
Mom: OK - but come back when you are done.

What are you waiting for? Load OS X 10.3.9 on it. It should work just fine.

So, what's the difference between an "innovation" and a "feature."
